It looks like SWE HQ's updated website doesn't have the correct award amounts for 2 of our scholarships below, so that's why I didn't add links to the Pioneers and Reentry. I'll reach out to them to see if they can correct the website and confirm the award amounts below.
Otherwise, let me know if this is what you need. Feel free to cut back on info that gets posted online.
We currently award three Section scholarships that are managed by SWE National. Apply here: https://scholarships.swe.org/applications/login.asp
Separately from the three scholarships mentioned above, the Section currently has an endowed “Colleen Conley Scholarship” that is administered through the New Mexico Engineering Foundation (NMEF). This is a renewable scholarship, therefore if the awardee meets the criteria on an annual basis, the Section can only award this to a new candidate every 4 years. However, the section will be implementing a second endowed scholarship soon. NMEF website: https://nmef.net/programs.html

- SWE Central New Mexico – Pioneers Scholarship: 1 @ $2000 to sophomore, junior, or senior. US citizenship & SWE membership required. Must attend a university located in NM: New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, New Mexico State University, University of New Mexico. Renewable for 3 years. Availability dependent upon renewal. Administered by SWE National and established in 2004.
- SWE Central New Mexico- Reentry Scholarship: 1 @ $1750 US citizenship & SWE membership required. Must attend a university located in NM: New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, New Mexico State University, University of New Mexico. Reentry for sophomore, junior, senior, graduate. If there is no qualified candidate, the Scholarship Committee can award a second CNM-Pioneers Scholarship. Renewable for 6 years. Availability dependent upon renewal. Administered by SWE National and established in 2005.
- Ellen Hippeli Scholarship: 1 @ $1250 Scholarship for incoming freshmen student. U.S. citizenship required. Nuclear engineering preferred. Administered by SWE National and established in 2015.
